We at Construction Schedule Analytics have made it our mission to help the industry improve projects through more proactive use of construction schedules and scheduling tools, including resource and cost loading, implementing earned value techniques, locating and evaluating scheduling hot spots, correcting schedule quality issues, assessing alternate construction methods and sequencing, using 4D visualization tools for project management and team collaboration, and locating and managing risk.

Paul Levin, PSP


Director

Paul Levin has been working with CPM schedules since his first job on a nuclear power plant with Stone & Webster Engineering.  Since then, Mr. Levin has worked for owners, engineers and contractors, as well as several major construction consulting firms, on a multitude of commercial, heavy, industrial and transportation construction projects.  While having served in numerous positions, including project engineer, claims engineer and project manager, a significant portion of Mr. Levin's career has been devoted to schedule-related endeavors, retiring from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in 2011 as a senior scheduling engineer. 

Mr. Levin maintains expertise in multiple scheduling applications, including:

Primavera P3, P6, Contractor and Suretrak, Microsoft Project and Acumen Fuse.

Mr. Levin is an active member with AACE, where he holds Professional Scheduling and Planning (PSP) certification.  He is editor of the 3rd edition of Construction Contract Claims, Changes and Disputes Resolution published by ASCE Press (November 2016).  Additionally, Mr. Levin has edited and published content over the years on construction claims, project contorls, scheduling, green building and building information modeling (BIM).  Mr. Levin is also a member of ASCE, CMAA, ASME and the Construction Forum of the ABA. 

Mr. Levin has a BSCE (structural engineering) from the University of Maryland and a Masters of Engineering Administration (construction management) from The George Washington University.
